PAISLEY PRINTS BY WALLIS

My new Wallis dress is one of the most comfortable dresses I have - the style and the silky material are so easy to wear and I just feel "that's me!" Perfect for the office and in the colder season I can add a cardigan or a blazer and boots. 

The only colour dash in my monochrome look is the orange bag today but it can be replaced by any other colour - either bag, cardigan or even both! I am looking forward to play with red or yellow accessories.

Vor ein paar Tagen hat mir der Postbote mein neues Wallis Kleid gebracht und es ist eines der bequemsten Kleider, die ich habe - der Schnitt und das seidige Stretchmaterial sind superangenehm zu tragen und ich fühle mich darin rundum wohl - genau mein Stil!

Das Kleid ist perfekt für's Büro und ich werde in der kälteren Jahreszeit einen Cardigan oder Blazer und Stiefel dazu tragen.

Der einzige Farbtupfer ist meine orangefarbene Tasche, aber ich werde es auch mit anderen Farben kombinieren, z.B. rot oder gelb.

STYLE INTERVIEW IN A BLACK SKATER DRESS

Why do we love wearing certain pieces of your wardrobe over and over again while others remain hidden in our closets? They might be the correct size,  the latest trend colour or an expensive piece - but some clothes just don't feel right and others soon become our favourites...

Recently I virtually met Stephanie, an expert on style types, body shapes and preferred colours. On her style blog Die Modeflüsterin she shares her knowledge on how to enhance your individual figure and type in accordance with her style credo "Be yourself!"

For quite a while I was looking for a skater dress but most of them were too short and girly until I discovered this simple black one from H&M. The new midi length, the "black is back" colour and the thicker fabric are ideal for the coming autumn season. Stephanie confirmed my shape is an X with a slight tendency to an A because of my feminine hips, hence this dress was the perfect choice for me.

I kept it simple and only paired it with my new ZARA statement necklace without any further jewellery or accessories.

Jede von uns hat ihre Lieblingsstücke im Kleiderschrank, während andere Teile dort ein verstecktes Dasein führen, obwohl sie eigentlich die richtige Größe haben, die Farbe brandaktuell ist und womöglich auch noch teuer waren. Aber in manchen Sachen fühlen wir uns einfach trotzdem nicht wohl und andere ziehen wir nur über und sie fühlen sich genau richtig an... Warum ist das so?

Kürzlich habe ich online Stephanie kennengelernt, die auf ihrem Stil-Blog Die Modeflüsterin Stil- und Figurtipps gibt, farblich berät und hilft, die individuelle Figur und Typ perfekt in Szene zu setzen. Stephanies  "Regel Nummer Eins für den stilvollen Auftritt: Sei Du selbst!"

Seit einiger Zeit war ich auf der Suche nach einem Skater dress, aber die meisten waren leider viel zu kurz und mädchenhaft für mich, bis ich auf dieses simple, schwarze H&M Kleid stieß. Die neue Midi Länge, die Rückkehr von schwarz (freut mich besonders) und das dickere Material sind perfekt für den Herbst. Stephanie hat bestätigt, dass dieser Schnitt neben figurbetonten Kleidern ideal für meine X-Figur mit leichter Tendenz zu einer A-Linie (meine Hüften) sei. 

Dazu habe ich nur meine auffällige ZARA Kette gewählt, alles andere bleibt dezent im Hintergrund.

FITNESS AND RUNNING WITH NIKE AIR MAX

Not only since I turned 50 last year, I know that regular exercise and healthy food should be an essential part of our life. After I gained some weight I didn't feel comfortable (too many skirts and trousers in my wardrobe are currently too tight) and decided to take up my running and workout routine again.

With my favourite trails starting right in front of my house and a gym at work which I can use for free at any time, I think there is hardly any excuse...! Furthermore my personal trainer AKA my son Lucas, besides university is an enthusiastic bodybuilder, an expert in nutrition and currently working on his trainer certification. What else can I ask for?

When JD Sports, a UK based sports-fashion retail company, asked me whether I would review one of their products, the NIKE Air Max 1 trainers, it couldn't come at a better time!

I go to the gym in the colder season but whenever the weather allows, I prefer running outdoors on forest tracks and natural gravel trails along the mountains. Even the first time I used my new NIKE trainers, they felt light and comfortable yet they provide a very good support. This of course is essential especially in autumn with slippery surfaces and falling leaves.

JD Sports with numerous shops throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland offer a huge online selection of training shoes and clothes by international brands like NIKE and adidas but also own brands and deliver internationally to 195 countries.

Nicht erst seit meinem 50. Geburtstag letztes Jahr, ist mir klar, dass regelmäßige Bewegung und gesunde Ernährung essentiell sind. Nachdem ich leider einige Kilos zugenommen habe und mich damit überhaupt nicht wohl fühle - außerdem hängen etliche Hosen und Röcke im Schrank, weil sie mir zu eng wurden - habe ich angefangen, wieder regelmäßig zu laufen und ins Fitness Studio zu gehen.

Die schönsten Wege beginnen direkt vor meiner Haustür, außerdem kann ich das Fitness Studio meiner Firma jederzeit und kostenlos benutzen, da fallen Ausreden wirklich schwer...! Dazu habe ich einen persönlichen Fitnesstrainer, meinen Sohn Lucas, der neben seinem Studium ein begeisterter Bodybuilder ist, sich auf Ernährung spezialisiert hat und an seiner Trainer-Lizenz arbeitet. Ein Idealfall für mich, oder?

Als mich JD Sports, eines der größten britischen Einzelhandelsunternehmen für Sportartikel, kontaktierte, ob ich eines ihrer Produkte, Nike Air Max 1 Laufschuhe testen und vorzustellen würde, kam dies natürlich gerade zur richtigen Zeit!

In der kalten Jahreszeit gehe ich ins Fitness Studio, aber solange es das Wetter erlaubt, laufe ich draußen auf Kies- und Waldwegen und meine Lieblingsroute führt mit gemäßigten Steigungen und kleinen Schluchten am Berghang entlang. Selbst als ich das erste Mal mit meinen neuen NIKE Laufschuhen unterwegs war, passten sie perfekt, fühlten sich so leicht an und waren super bequem. Dennoch bieten sie perfekten Halt, was ja besonders wichtig ist, gerade wenn es jetzt im Herbst auf heruntergefallenen Blättern gerne mal etwas rutschig wird.

In order to get a better overview on my daily meals, I am using the mobile App MyFitnessPal, a free online calorie counter where I can track my caloric intake quickly and easily. It comes with nutrition facts for over 2 Mio foods and a built-in barcode scanner. At the end of the day it shows how I well I have done on my personal limit of carbohydrates, fat, proteins or other nutrients!


Meine täglichen Mahlzeiten und auch die kleinen verführerischen Snacks zwischendurch, die man gerne mal vergisst, habe ich jetzt viel besser unter Kontrolle, seit ich die kostenlose App MyFitnessPal verwende. Es sind 2 Mio Nahrungsmittel gespeichert und für diejenigen, denen das nicht reicht, gibt es zusätzlich einen praktischen Barcode Scanner. Damit habe ich nicht nur eine Übersicht über die Kalorien, sondern auch über die Menge an Kohlehydraten, Fett und Eiweiß und andere Nährstoffe!

BLACK MANGO JUMPSUIT

Finally I found a jumpsuit! It was love at first sight as soon as I entered the Mango store in Bolzano, Italy during a short but wonderful getaway with Mr C. 

I was looking for a black jumpsuit with neither too wide nor too tight legs and this one is just what I was looking for and the size fitted without further adjustments. 

I'd prefer wearing it with different heels like these or those but even I took a whole bag of shoes with me (I just can't travel light and when you are travelling by car, it is even more tempting to take a lot of stuff...!) I only had my black pumps matching the outfit.

Is it just a coincidence that two of my favourite bloggers also wear a jumpsuit these days?

Schon lange habe ich nach einem schwarzen Overall gesucht und als ich während eines wunderschönen Kurzurlaubs mit Mr C den Mango Store in Bozen betrat, war es Liebe auf den ersten Blick! Ich wollte einen Overall mit weder zu weiten (ich bin nur 1,63m), noch zu engen Beinen und dieser hier passte sofort perfekt.

Ich hätte dazu gerne etwas auffälligere Sandalen wie diese oder diese getragen, aber obwohl ich eine extra Tasche mit Schuhen dabei hatte (ich reise immer mit viel Gepäck und gerade, wenn ich mit dem Auto fahre, ist es zu verführerisch, noch mehr mitzunehmen...!) waren meine schwarzen Pumps die einzigen, die dazu passten. 

Ist es Zufall, dass zwei meiner Lieblingsbloggerinnen auch gerade Jumpsuits vorstellen?

SCHLOSS PASCHBACH, EPPAN/APPIANO

If you ever plan to visit the region of Bolzano, Alto Adige/Südtirol, Northern Italy, I can highly recommend Schloss Paschbach - a romantic hotel located in the middle of the famous vineyards of the "Strada del Vino". A historic family owned castle dating back to the 13th century with lovely rooms, a gorgeous garden with appletrees, plums and figs, a stunning view, beautiful antiques and a very helpful, sophisticated and stylish hostess.

ana alcazar, a Munich based German designer has a unique style and an amazing new winter collection. I really love the style and I am currently dreaming of this dress (love the cleavage) and of this one (that scoop neck...!)  

I fell in love with the soft colours and the style which make this dress a perfect additon to my growing dress collection ;-) Together with my floral necklace I felt is was an appropriate look for dinner on a warm late summer evening with my lovely blogger friend Conny of A Hemad und a Hos last week here.

Ich liebe den besonderen Stil von ana alcazar, einem Münchener Designerlabel - vor allem die Kleider mit ihren einzigartigen Drucken und Schnitten haben es mir angetan. Somit ist dieses pastellfarbene Kleid eine ideale Ergänzung meiner Kleidersammlung! Diese beiden Kleider finde ich besonders schön: Dieses Bustierkleid und dieses Traumkleid mit U-Bootausschnitt.

Ich habe das Kleid mit meiner Blumenkette kombiniert und es vergangene Woche an einem lauen Spätsommerabend zu einem Treffen mit meiner Bloggerfreundin Conny von A Hemad und a Hos getragen - eine tolle Frau und wir haben uns auf Anhieb perfekt verstanden!
